HOSA
Introduction
HOSA is a state and national organization whose mission is to enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality health care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all Health Occupations Education students, therefore, helping the students to meet the needs of the health care industry. HOSA is not a club- it's an organization that promotes career opportunities in health care and and supports students who plan to pursue a career in health care.
In our NBHS HOSA chapter, we stress leadership through the election of student officers. We also stress participation in social activities, community service, leadership development as well as friendly competition by means of skill and academic contests on the regional, state and international levels.
