Sabol, Sarah (2nd)

Hello, I am Sarah Sabol ( and I am excited to teach your child this school year!

I grew up in Pennsylvania, where I attended Pennsylvania State University. WE ARE! There, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies, and it's where I met my husband Chris. We moved to Asheville, NC 7 years ago. We have two dogs, Harvey and Bailey.

I taught transitional Kindergarten for 4 years. Which inspired me to earn my Elementary teaching license from Mars Hill University.

I have held positions as a student teacher in 1st grade and a kindergarten interim for two Buncombe County Schools, one being W.D. Williams. This is my third year teaching second grade.

My teaching philosophy is to provide an inclusive, positive, and welcoming classroom environment. I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom each day. My goal is to challenge my students daily, with learning that is meaningful, engaging, and purposeful.

I enjoy shopping, buying houseplants, crafting with my cricut and traveling! My favorite things are the color blue, cheetah, Starbucks iced coffee, and spending time with my family!
