Welcome
to the fifth grade and my classroom! This is my eleventh year teaching.
I taught fifth grade here at WD Williams for three years. I moved to
North Buncombe Elementary and taught third grade for four years.
Although I miss teaching third grade and NBES, I am THRILLED to be back
at WD Williams and back in the fifth grade. My goal is to make
learning fun as well as challenging. I strive to prepare each child for
the demands and expectations of the third grade and prepare them to be
successful sixth graders.
In
my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and traveling when I
get the chance. I also enjoy running, hiking and riding.
I have a BA from Warren Wilson College in Environmental Studies with a Concentration in Forest Resource Conservation.
I have obtained my K-6 Licensure from University of North Carolina-Asheville.
