All Buncombe County Schools will participate in Community Eligibility (CEP) or Universal Meals this year. These programs provide breakfast and lunch at no cost. Parents will not have to complete a Free and Reduced Form if their students attend a CEP School. Parents at our Universal Meal School, Nesbitt Discovery Academy, will be asked to complete a meal benefit form online (All information is confidential).
The cost of a student meal served is covered by the United States Department of Agriculture. Adult meals will be available for purchase. Funds generated are used to support the operations of the Buncombe County Schools School Nutrition Program.
