Teaching posing with chorus students at asheville mall

Students from W.D. Williams delighted the patrons of Asheville Mall with seasonal holiday songs for the annual lighting of the Ingles Giving Tree. The Giving Tree is in association with Manna Food Bank and Ingles markets, sporting ornaments representing the food donated to Manna and distributed to families in our community.

This is W.D. Williams’ sixth year singing before the lighting of the tree. “This event is so good for my students,” said music teacher Jennifer Anderson. “They get to perform in public, which is huge for them. Also, they are able to give back and help others - which is beautiful and impactful.”

The Chorus Club is made up of fourth and fifth grade students, who spent the last semester practicing for the tree lighting ceremony. “W.D. Williams War Pony Chorus loves being a part of this event,” said Ms. Anderson. “It's so good for my kids to have a chance to show off all their hard work and fun we have had this semester in the Fall Chorus Club.”
