W.D. Williams' PTO is an organization comprised of W.D. Williams' parents, teachers and administrators. Our Mission is to promote the well being of W.D. Williams' children in the home, school and community. In addition, we strive to bring parents into a closer relationship with the teaching staff and administration. We support laws and policies for the care and protection of children.
Furthermore, we conduct fund raising activities with the goal of enriching the educational environment. We aim to provide a variety of educational and enriching activities for the W.D. Williams' community.
Every parent or guardian is a member of the PTO. By getting involved, you can make good things happen! We welcome parental input and ideas to help our students in their learning environment. We raise money for the school with the goal of enhancing our children's experience in an academic setting. You would help us foster a sense of community within the school by creating and providing activities that are fun and educational, enriching, and beneficial for all.
Research shows that when lots of parents get involved in their children's school, the school as a whole performs better!
So come get involved!

The PTO realizes that life can be busy, especially with children! So we sent home a volunteer form during the first week of classes that asked for just 2 Hours of your volunteer time. It also asked you about your individual interests and needs so that we or other members of the school staff may call you for appropriate activities or events. If you haven’t already done so, please take a few moments to fill out this form and return it to your child's teacher!
